Lynn John Rambeck, Psy. D., CAS, (1946-2011) received his Doctor of
Clinical Psychology degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology,
Chicago, Illinois.

In 1988, after receiving specialized training by medical
director, Robert Custer, M.D., at Baltimore's Taylor Manor Hospital, Dr.
Rambeck began providing disordered gambling treatment in conjunction with
his private clinical practice in Minnesota.
For over a decade, Dr. Rambeck provided accredited,
clinical gambling disorder-specific training to an array of mental health
providers and addiction treatment facilities, including Hazelden, as well
departments of mental health for the States of Georgia, Minnesota, South
Dakota, Michigan, Arizona, and the Canadian provinces of Manitoba, New
Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Alberta.

Dr. Rambeck has provided training for colleges and universities, which
included the Tulane School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Neurology
and the University of Missouri- Kansas City.
Dr. Rambeck has been an advisor to the American Academy of Health
Care Providers in the Addictive Disorders, and he was a founding member of the
Minnesota Department of Human Services Gambling Program Advisory Committee.
In addition to treating gambling disorder, Dr. Rambeck also
specialized in long-term therapy with depressive disorders.
